We are a family of five who have decided to move onto our 41 foot Freeport Islander, Flying Fish. Our home port is the beautiful Wellfleet Ma. We are sailing down the East Coast, via the Intercostal Waterway, and then to the Bahamas. We left in early September and have been coming down the coast since.

Our Dad, Steve is a metal sculptor. He worked delivering sailboats for 15 years. Our Mom is a musician, who grew up sailing a 41 foot Concordia from Marblehead to Maine as a with her family. They had been talking about doing this trip for a long time, and last year, they decided that we would finally do it. I am the Lucy, the oldest, and I am 12 years old. I love the ocean and everything in it so much, and was very happy to go on this trip. The next down is Jessie, my 11 year old sister. She also has a great love for all things ocean and was very exited to come on this trip. Then the youngest is Stanley, he is five. He loves living on the boat and going on this trip, but he wishes that he could swim and snorkel as well as the rest of us. He will catch up soon.
